Custom Sandstone Water Fountain, Vaucluse
A hand-carved sandstone water fountain, combined with a mild steel rill and bird bath. Built as a quiet focal point for a Vaucluse garden, sized to suit the space and the surrounding materials.
The Brief
The client wanted a water fountain that felt built for the garden. By using locally sourced materials it needed to be something that felt historic with a modern touch.
The Craft
Ground and shaped from sandstone by hand, sized specifically for the garden bed it now sits in, with a matching sandstone bird bath positioned below it to blend the undulating levels of the garden.
The Finished Piece
A genuinely one-off feature. No two pieces we make are ever the same, and this one was built entirely around this garden and location.
